Terms & Conditions
Welcome to Dimensions to Healing.
We are committed to providing a welcoming, respectful and supportive space for healing, personal growth and spiritual development.
Our Terms & Conditions explain our booking arrangements, deposits, payments and cancellation policies for individual healing sessions, ceremonies, workshops and training courses.
We kindly ask that you read the relevant information before booking, so everything is clear from the beginning.
Individual Healing Sessions
Booking Appointments and Deposits
All healing appointments are arranged in advance by telephone, email or message.
A £25 deposit is required to secure your healing appointment. This is deducted from the total session fee, with the remaining balance payable on the day of your appointment.
Your session price will be confirmed at the time of booking.
We accept payments by cash, card or bank transfer.
Your appointment is confirmed once the date and time have been agreed and your deposit has been received, unless otherwise arranged.
Cancellations, Rearranging and Missed Appointments
Please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment.
If an appointment is cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or a client is unable to attend without notifying us, we may retain an appropriate amount of the deposit to cover reasonable preparation costs and financial losses.
Each healing session requires about one hour of preparation, including setting up the healing room, preparing the altar, making food offerings, and creating a dedicated space for your healing.
We understand that unexpected circumstances and genuine emergencies can arise, and these will always be considered with compassion.
Any cancellation charges will be fair and proportionate, and your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
If We Need to Cancel Your Appointment
On rare occasions, illness, emergencies or unforeseen circumstances may mean that we need to rearrange or cancel your appointment.
If this happens, we will contact you as soon as possible and offer you the choice of an alternative appointment or a full refund of any payment made for the cancelled session.
Healing and Complementary Therapies
Our shamanic healing and complementary therapies are intended to support spiritual wellbeing, personal growth, self-awareness and energetic balance.
Every person’s healing journey is unique, and experiences and outcomes may vary. We cannot guarantee any specific results.
Our healing services are complementary and are not intended to replace professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
We encourage clients to continue with any prescribed medication or medical treatment and to seek appropriate professional healthcare advice when needed.
Client Consent and Personal Responsibility
All healing work is undertaken with the client’s informed consent.
We kindly ask clients to let us know about any relevant health considerations, sensitivities, accessibility requirements or concerns before their appointment.
Some healing practices may involve sound, incense, ceremonial elements or appropriate physical contact. These will be explained where relevant, and your consent will always be respected.
You are welcome to ask questions, decline any part of a practice or withdraw your consent at any time during your session.
We ask that all clients approach their healing experience with mutual respect for the practitioner, the healing space and others present.
Confidentiality and Privacy
At Dimensions to Healing, we respect your privacy and understand the importance of creating a safe, confidential and supportive space.
Any personal information shared before, during or after your healing session will be treated with care, sensitivity and respect.
We will not share your personal information without your permission unless required or permitted by law, including where necessary to address serious safeguarding concerns.
Any personal information we collect or hold will be handled in accordance with UK data protection legislation and our Privacy Policy.
Your Statutory Cancellation Rights
When booking a healing session by telephone, email or online, you may have a legal 14-day cancellation period, beginning the day after your booking is confirmed.
During this period, you have the right to cancel your booking and receive a refund, subject to any permitted charges for services already provided at your express request.
Appointments Within 14 Days
We understand that many clients wish to receive healing sooner and are happy to accommodate appointments at short notice.
If your appointment is within the 14-day cancellation period, we will ask you to confirm that you would like your healing session to go ahead during this time.
You will also be asked to acknowledge that your statutory right to cancel will end once your healing session has been fully completed.
If you cancel before your session takes place, your statutory cancellation rights will still apply.
To cancel a booking, please contact us by email. Where the statutory right applies, you may also use our cancellation form, although this is not compulsory.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory consumer rights.
Courses, Workshops & Training
Our courses, workshops and training programmes include the Wisdom Keepers Medicine Wheel, Rahanni, Munay-Ki and other spiritual teachings.
A deposit is required to secure your place on a course or workshop.
For our Wisdom Keepers Medicine Wheel training, the booking deposit is £75.
Deposits for other courses and workshops may vary. The full course fee, deposit amount and any available payment arrangements will be clearly explained before booking.
Your place is confirmed once your booking has been agreed and the required deposit has been received.
All deposits are deducted from the total course fee and are subject to our cancellation policy and your statutory consumer rights.
Course Bookings and Deposits
Where courses, workshops or training programmes are booked by telephone, email or online, you may have a statutory 14-day cancellation right.
Some activities booked for specific dates may be exempt from this right, depending on the nature of the course or workshop.
Where a statutory cancellation right applies, we will provide the relevant information before your booking is confirmed.
If you request that training begins during the cancellation period, we may ask for your express agreement and explain how this affects your cancellation rights.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory consumer rights.
Course Cancellations, Refunds and Transfers
We understand that sometimes circumstances change, and we always aim to approach cancellations with fairness, compassion and understanding.
As our courses and training programmes have limited places and involve considerable preparation, including creating manuals, preparing teaching materials, organising ceremonial resources and preparing the teaching space, we kindly request at least four weeks’ notice if you need to cancel your place.
Cancellations and Refunds
If you need to cancel your place on a course or workshop, please contact us as soon as possible.
Where a cancellation results in reasonable preparation costs or financial losses, we may retain an appropriate amount of your deposit to cover those losses. Any remaining deposit will be refunded.
Cancellations made within four weeks of the course may result in additional reasonable charges, where permitted by law. Any charges will be fair and proportionate, taking into account costs already incurred, costs saved and whether your place can be filled.
Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Transferring to Another Course
We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise, and sometimes it may be necessary to change your course arrangements.
Where possible, we are happy to consider transferring your booking to another available course date.
All transfer requests will be considered individually, taking into account availability, the notice given and any preparation costs already incurred.
Transfers are not guaranteed, but we will always aim to approach each situation with fairness, compassion and understanding.
Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
If We Need to Cancel a Course
On rare occasions, illness, unforeseen circumstances or emergencies may mean that we need to rearrange or cancel a course, workshop or training programme.
If this happens, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and offer you the choice of transferring to an alternative available date or receiving a full refund of any payments made for the cancelled course.
We understand that clients may have made arrangements to attend, and we will always aim to communicate any changes as promptly and compassionately as possible.
Statutory Cancellation Rights for Courses and Workshops
Courses, workshops and training programmes booked by telephone, email or online may be subject to a statutory 14-day cancellation period.
Certain activities booked for specific dates may be exempt from this cancellation period, depending on the nature of the course or workshop.
Where a statutory cancellation right applies, we will provide the relevant information before your booking is confirmed.
If you wish to begin your training within the 14-day cancellation period, we may ask for your express agreement and explain how this affects your cancellation rights.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory consumer rights.
Questions and Contact Information
If you have any questions about our Terms & Conditions, booking arrangements, healing sessions, courses or workshops, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
We aim to approach all enquiries and concerns with fairness, compassion and understanding.
